Cookies make our offer more user-friendly, effective, and secure, helping you navigate and ensuring our website displays correctly. Through cookies, we receive data such as your IP address, browser, and operating system.

Most cookies we use are "session cookies." They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain on your device until you delete them, allowing us to recognize your browser upon your next visit.

We have enabled the IP anonymization feature on this website. This means that your IP address is shortened by Google within EU member states or other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being sent to the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the website operator, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activities, and provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. Further details are provided below under "Specific Google Applications."

Legal Basis
Cookies essential for carrying out electronic communications or providing certain functions requested by you are stored based on Article 6, Para. 1, Sentence 1, Letter f GDPR. This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses "cookies," which are text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your use of the website. Information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is typically transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. On behalf of this website’s operator, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activities, and provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. Additional details are outlined below under "6.6.1 Google Analytics Measurement Data."

Legal Basis
Cookies required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you have requested are stored based on Article 6, Para. 1, Sentence 1, Letter f GDPR. 6.6.1 Google Analytics Measurement Data

Device-related raw data ("dimensions" and "metrics") collected and analyzed by the Google Analytics web analytics tool during the use of our online offering, including information on sources by which visitors access our website, location, browser and device used, usage of the website (e.g., page views, frequency, and duration of pages viewed), and fulfillment of certain goals (e.g., transactions in an online store). This data is associated with the Client ID assigned to your device. Ultimately, device-related usage profiles are created, aggregating all raw data linked to a Client ID. Data collected via Google Analytics does not enable us to identify you directly by your full name. Without your consent, we do not combine device-related raw data or generated device-related usage profiles with data that could directly identify you.

6.6.2 Google Analytics Report Data

Data contained in aggregated segment- and device-based reports, created by the Google Analytics web analytics tool based on an analysis of device-related raw data. This website uses Google Analytics' "demographic features" function to create reports containing age, gender, and interests of site visitors. This data originates from Google's interest-based advertising and visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be linked to any specific individual.

Purpose
The purpose of this data processing is to analyze user behavior and measure the reach of our website and advertisements to optimize our online offering.

Legal Basis
The legal basis for processing the aforementioned data is the consent given via the cookie banner in accordance with Art. 6, Para. 1, Sentence 1, Letter a GDPR and § 25 Para. 1 TTDSG, provided that consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information on the user's device (e.g., device fingerprinting) as defined in the TTDSG. Consent may be revoked at any time.

Recipient
Google Ireland Limited uses Google LLC in the USA (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) as a service provider. The legal basis for data processing in the USA is your consent given via the cookie banner (Art. 49, Para. 1, Letter a GDPR). The USA does not offer a data protection level comparable to that of the GDPR. It is possible that governmental authorities may access personal data without our knowledge or yours. Enforcing your rights in the USA is likely not possible. Information on the processing of personal data by Google can be found in Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can revoke your consent at any time with future effect.

You can also disable Google Analytics features at any time via ad settings in your Google account or generally prevent data collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will then be set to prevent your data from being collected on future visits to this website. You can further prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

Further information on handling user data in Google Analytics can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.

6.7 Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). As part of Google AdWords, we use conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files stored by the internet browser on the user’s computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification of users. If the user visits certain pages on this website and the cookie has not expired, Google and we can detect that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie, so cookies cannot be tracked across AdWords customers' websites. The information obtained with the help of the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by easily deactivating the Google Conversion Tracking cookie via your internet browser's user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

Purpose
The purpose of using the conversion cookie is to create conversion statistics. We learn the total number of users who clicked on one of our ads and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive information that personally identifies users.

Legal Basis
The legal basis for processing the aforementioned data is the consent given via the cookie banner in accordance with Art. 6, Para. 1, Sentence 1, Letter a GDPR and § 25 Para. 1 TTDSG, provided that consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information on the user’s device (e.g., device fingerprinting) as defined in the TTDSG.

In the USA, the data protection level is not comparable to the GDPR requirements. It is possible that government authorities could access personal data without our knowledge or yours. Enforcing your rights in the USA may not be possible. Information on Google’s processing of personal data can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

You can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies, allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude cookies for specific cases or generally, and activate automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited. More information about Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en&gl=en.

6.8 Facebook Pixel

Within our online offer, we evaluate the activity and click behavior of our users. To analyze and optimize this behavior, we use the "Facebook Pixel" of the social network Facebook, operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. The Facebook Pixel is directly embedded by Facebook when visiting our website and can store a cookie on your device. If you subsequently log in to Facebook or visit Facebook while logged in, your visit to our online offer will be recorded in your profile. The data collected about you remains anonymous to us, meaning it does not provide us with any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, Facebook stores and processes the data so that it can be linked to the respective user profile and used by Facebook for its own market research and advertising purposes. Should we transfer data to Facebook for matching purposes, this data is encrypted locally on the browser and only then sent to Facebook via a secure https connection. This is done solely to match the data with the data similarly encrypted by Facebook. The following data is processed:

6.8.1 Facebook Pixel HTTP Data
These are log data that occur technically via the HTTP(S) (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure) protocol when using the Facebook Pixel on the website: this includes IP address, type and version of your internet browser, operating system used, the page accessed, the previously visited page (referrer URL), and the date and time of access.

6.8.2 Facebook Pixel Device Data
Data assigned to your device by the Facebook Pixel, including a unique ID to recognize returning visitors.

6.8.3 Facebook Pixel Event Data
Data collected by Facebook through the Facebook Pixel under the assignment to the unique visitor ID in the Facebook Pixel Device Data, which includes actions occurring on the website (so-called "events"), such as conversions, link clicks, and page views. It also includes information associated with each recorded action (so-called "parameters"), such as providing contact details or downloading documents.

6.8.4 Facebook Pixel Analysis Data
Data generated by Facebook based on the information collected via the Facebook Pixel and assigned to the unique visitor ID in the Facebook Pixel Device Data. This includes information about the effectiveness of Facebook ads and the assignment of users to target groups for Facebook ads. Facebook may potentially generate further data based on the collected information for its purposes or third-party purposes. We are unaware of the specifics of the data generated by Facebook.

Purpose
The purpose of using the Facebook Pixel is to enable Facebook to collect and process user data on our website. Facebook determines the purposes of processing. For more information, see Facebook’s Privacy Policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

Enforcing your rights in the USA may not be possible. Information on Facebook’s processing of personal data can be found at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

Additionally, you can object to the use of your data for Facebook Ads through the Facebook Pixel. To set which types of ads are displayed to you on Facebook, visit Facebook’s settings for personalized ads. These settings apply across platforms.

6.9 Google Analytics Remarketing

Our websites use the Google Analytics Remarketing features in conjunction with the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. This feature allows the advertising audiences created with Google Analytics Remarketing to be linked with the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. In this way, interest-based, personalized advertising messages adapted to your past usage and browsing behavior on one device (e.g., mobile phone) can also be displayed on another of your devices (e.g., tablet or PC). If you have provided the relevant consent, Google will link your web and app browsing history with your Google account for this purpose. This allows personalized advertising messages to be displayed on any device on which you sign in with your Google account. To support this function, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated user IDs, which are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create cross-device advertising target groups.

Purpose
The purpose of this data processing is to measure the reach of our website and the advertisements we place to optimize our online offerings.

Legal Basis
The legal basis for processing is the consent given via the cookie banner in accordance with Art. 6, Para. 1, Sentence 1, Letter a GDPR and § 25 Para. 1 TTDSG, provided that the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information on the user’s device (e.g., device fingerprinting) as defined in the TTDSG.
